About Bob and Northwest Creative Woodworking

After years of “garage woodworking” I decided to build a small shop to have space for the additional tools needed to expand my woodworking horizons a bit further. The shop allowed me to “make more sawdust”, learn how to fully utilize the tools and experiment with things that I enjoyed making. It also allowed a little more space to be creative and further explore what I enjoyed making and sharing with others.

As you browse the website you will see, among other things, furniture pieces, custom mirrors and frames, wine barrel accessories and art glass with wood combinations that are both fun and colorful. Functionality is the purpose for some pieces while others just celebrate the wood and natural materials as art pieces. My desire now is to continue to imagine / build and for others to be able to share and enjoy some of these efforts.

The desire to share gave birth to NW Creative Woodworking and this website. Though I might love to keep all the pieces I would rather share some of them with you and, in the process, bring a little something beautiful into your homes as well.
